Growing up in the suburbs of Cleveland, Ohio, and listening to many genres of music at a young age, music, African American history and African culture has been Ashlee’s top influences. Starting at the age of thirteen she was introduced to multiple types of art mediums leading her to advance courses in oil painting. 

Ashlee relocated to Florida where she continued to pursue her interests in art. Her goal is to continue to explore narratives that bring collective therapeutic healing in every piece of black wall art .
